Moulding types that we carry and distribute include the following:
- Base Board - The most common function is to serve as a nice transition between the wall and floor. It is also used to hold panel mouldings and by flipping it over it can be used in conjunction with large crown mouldings.
- Casing - Serves mostly as door and window trim.
- Chair Rail - Used to create both a nice contrasting detail, and serve as protection for the wall. This moulding is applied horizontally to the wall around waist level or higher. Also used with paneling to create a Wainscot affect.
- Crown - Typically used as a transition from wall to ceiling to create depth and add more detail. Other uses include the top detail for doorways, columns, and cabinetry. Crowns can be combined with numerous other mouldings to add more detail and a larger appearance.
- Door & Window Mouldings - Casing, Door Jambs, Headers, Caps, Aprons & Stools, and Rosette Blocks.
- Scribe - Used to hide gaps where cabinets and furniture meet walls or the transition from cabinet toe kicks to the floor.
Note: We currently do not have a moulding catalog online. We are working on it and hope to have one in the near future. If you are unable to visit our facility, please call and we will be able to help you.
